The Briques' Team

No shady business or complex investments behind Les Briques, just a family of six: Jean, Katia and their children imagined and created this project.

Jean
Jean
After fifteen years working in the industry, Jean retrained as a teacher. He has teached productique (metal machining) and then carpentry in a professional high school for fifteen years.

Alongside his work, he has done a lot of DIY with Katia since he was 25 years old, which has allowed him to acquire complementary skills to woodworking: electricity, plumbing…

He has completed a large part of the work at Les Briques, and we owe him the majority of the interior furniture, made of wood in Les Briques' wood lab.
Katia
Katia
Trained as a midwife, Katia gave birth to children for ten years at the Caen University Hospital before setting up her own private practice. She then retrained and taught medical and social sciences in a professional high school for ten years, preparing future nursing assistants.

Also passionate about decoration and DIY, she is responsible for the majority of the interior design choices at Les Briques. She also designed and furnished the outdoor spaces. She is in charge of the tea room.
Basile
Basile
For his computer science engineering studies and entry into the workforce, Basile spent six years in the Paris region. Frustrated by pollution and the distance from nature, he then decided to become a digital nomad: traveling around Europe by train while teleworking. This is how he discovered coliving.

We owe him the current website and the reservation platform: he takes care of all the technical aspects of Les Briques.
Emile
Emile
After studying architecture in Rouen, La Coruña, and Paris, where he won several awards, Emile started working in an agency. He is the architect of the project, who imagined Les Briques and submitted the building permit.

Particularly sensitive to climate change, he integrated the environment into the project from the conception phase, both in the choice of materials and in the organization of spaces.
Félix
Félix
Félix is involved in the organization and animation of the coliving space and tea room events. He is a musician and singer, and he has recently released his third EP, "avant-dernier," which is available online. Besides music, he is also a master's student in music therapy.
Pablo
Pablo
In addition to his studies in theater and musical theater in Paris, Pablo is passionate about cooking. He provides assistance to Katia in the kitchen of the tea room. For example, he will be at Les Briques throughout the summer and some weekends.
